Going Live in 3, 2, 1, and Action–Join Us Live for the 2021 SEN Fall Conference

It’s been 2 years since our last in-person conference and the team at SEN Design Group is so excited to welcome members and vendor partners back for 3 full days of business and fun in Indianapolis. 2021 has been a tough year. It’s been an interesting year of change. And it’s been a year of high demand for our expertise in the kitchen and bath remodeling industry.

Every one of our members has played an essential role in helping people across the country manage difficult circumstances and turn their living spaces into the dream home that now fits current living, work, and schooling conditions. And you have done all this while managing production and supply chain issues as well as local mandates where we saw businesses closed for an extended period of time. There’s no other way to say it — it has been one heck of a year!

We are looking forward to bringing our team, SEN members, vendor partners, and keynote speaker together. We look forward to seeing you in Indianapolis and here are the highlights:

  • The Location – the Crowne Plaza at Historic Union Station (America’s first “union station”)
  • Keynote Speaker — Jim Karas, best-selling author, writer, editor, health and wellness expert, and speaker
  • Product Seminars
  • Workshops
  • Vendor “Speed-Dating”
  • Dealer Roundtables
  • Sales Design Forum
  • Vendor Partner Roundtable
  • Networking with friends and vendors!

Workshop #1

Looking Back, The Most Compelling Lessons Learned For Moving Forward  It would be a mistake to survive a pandemic and not take the time to reflect on the lessons learned from the crisis. Annual budgets and strategic plans were tossed aside due to the pandemic. Learning new skills and managing uncertainty and fear was the norm, not the exception. Join a panel of peers to hear valuable lessons learned from the pandemic and how those experiences can prepare and propel your business to thrive, not just survive.

Workshop #2

Why GBB Consultative Selling is a Winning Sales Process  You can’t convince anyone of anything. Why? Because it creates an adversarial situation. People don’t like to be sold; there’s a natural resistance to push back. Instead, research confirms that they prefer to be informed to make intelligent decisions that are right for their family. This workshop illustrates why partnering and advocating for a prospect will position you and your sales teams to tremendous success in less time by using the GBB selling tools.

Workshop #3

Selling Solutions That Start With Energy  Keynote Speaker Jim Karas will be speaking about mental and physical health, positive behaviors, and proactive steps you can take to improve your business.

Workshop #4

Hiring, Training and Retaining Personnel in a Post-Pandemic World  You’ve heard it on the news; it’s everywhere. It’s a business owner’s lament, hiring and assembling good quality teams and keeping them. This workshop will show you how to successfully get the right people in the proper seats on the right bus, heading in the right direction. Come ready to ask questions, and be prepared to leave with plenty of ideas you can take back to your organization.

Workshop #5

Conducting a Far Superior Consumer Showroom Experience  What constitutes an exceptional showroom experience for a consumer? Has the pandemic altered that view? This workshop will show attendees how to differentiate their showroom from competitors and position their business to generate more sales in less time by using studies and proven examples.

The deadline for registration will be here quickly – register by the August 23rd deadline! It is time to rejuvenate friendships, bounce ideas off each other, meet vendors, and walk away with incredible education from an expert lineup of speakers. And most of all, this is a great opportunity to invigorate yourself and your business — join us in Indianapolis on September 21-24 — see you in Indy!
